Just a teensy bit ridiculous.

So this is going to be one huge post completely centered around baking...all of the pictures from my recent adventures will be here and instead of trying to explain and separate each one I am just going to upload them all at once and explain here..

There is a variety and I know you must think "man all she must do is bake..." well actually that is all I have been doing outside of volunteer-ing with Beachside Community Church. After working and enduring summer school for all of May and June, I was kindly given a no school/no work break during the month of July and until school starts. It has been very nice. I have been gradually getting the word out about my love (obsession) for cupcake baking and even was able to do my first sale!! A sweet family I know was celebrating their daughter's first birthday and they gave me the pleasure of making cupcakes for them and I even got paid!!

So in the pictures there are the "classic" which is a dark chocolate brownie bottom and a white cake top layer finished off with whipped cream cheese frosting. These are delicious and becoming a staple in my personal baking arena.

For the party (all of the pics of the cupcakes in a box) I made the "classic" and then some strawberry with the same cream cheese frosting. For the party I also made some mini strawberry cupcakes and let me tell you...they are dangerous - You can eat like three without even realizing it. I will never make those unless they have a specific destination or they will be gone in a matter of hours and all in my stomach.

I have been testing some new recipes such as the "Thin Mint" cupcake...it has the light green frosting and chocolate shavings on top. I LOVED these, that might even be an under statement. And from them I probably received my highest baking compliment yet and that was that they were "divine". I had two...in one day.

The last were the oreo - and they were scrumptious as well, containing oreo in the batter as well as in the cream cheese frosting mixture. I just love playing with decorating on top. It was hard because I could not pipe these due to the oreo chunks..I love the cleanliness of piping but I think they turned out okay! =)

Please let me know if anyone would ever like some for any occasion or would like recipes...I would love to share, none are my own but some are mix and matched together!

Sorry for the baking addiction and lack of blogging...but I can't help it.
